Most of the Roman amphitheatre is underground but the excavations give a very good feeling for what it was like. Completely unexpected but fascinating. Really wlrth a visit.

Couldn't tell when someone would be around to open the gate, but there's a soccer field near the ruins, and the open fence looks like it gets a lot of use. c200 AD Roman amphitheater and baths, and transparent covers over an otherwise planked area...More
