While the sure size and diversity of this collection is amazing, my favorite aspect is walking through all the preserved transport and cargo aircraft. I've never walked up the steps of a 747 to the top floor or stood in the cargo bay of a Russian space shuttle before.

All modes of transport -- planes, trains, boats, helicopter, cars, motorbikes - of all ages, including World War 2 planes. Even space shuttle! Opportunity to explore the insides of planes, boats, and even submarine. There's a Boeing 747 propped up in the middle. Great for boys and men! Even women would enjoy it.

The museum is very interesting, especially in the field of space research I found a lot of exciting facts and objects. The museum is a little bit smaller, than we counted on but it can be just because a couple of months ago we were in the Auto & Technik Museum in Sinsheim and it was enourmous so now we... More

Very interesting place, they have so many cars, planes, train and even a submarine. I really recommend to visit this Museum. They have a cheap and good restaurant named Hangar with its good.

Yesterday we visited this museum for the first time. It is different from the museum in Sinsheim. What is really well done is the space eexhibition, featuring a lot of original memorabilia and an original "Buran" =Russian space craft similar to the US space shuttle. You can enter a submarine, a rescue ship, a Jumbo Jet, ....beatiful cars and a... More

There is a lot to see here. However, I don't think you will see stuff that you didn't know about before. There is an IMAX theater.

A wonderful collection of old cars, fire engines, planes and what I would call glockenspeils (music machines). Space was also well covered. They have the last surviving Russian Space Shuttle that you can walk through and an excellent exhibit of Apollo moon landings. The 747 walk through and slide down was fun too. A great way to spend an afternoon.

This Museum is a place where some wonders of the world gave us a rare chance of visiting inside a 747-jumbo jet, how a U9 submarine operated, the Russian space shuttle Buran, the Moonstone, space suits, fire trucks, locomotives, antique cars, and thousands of items from the 19th and 20th centuries including orchestra instruments, flute clocks, music boxes and a... Even if you are not a fan of planes and cars the museum is absolutely worth a visit. Impressive collection of planes, cars, space engines and many small discoveries to be made. For kids it is perfect. If they get annoyed you can cheer them up by putting 1€ in one of the many moving exhibits. Only negative point is... More
