It was a nice little aquarium to walk around and use up some spare time. I got tickets for my husband as a present, he loves marine fish and corals. However we took a day off to travel from Cologne to this Sea Life and found it a shame that there aquarium was so small and it seemed a quick... More

A very nice Aquarium along the Rhein in Königswinter. However, it won't take you too long to go explore it all.

Ok, it's a lot money... But when the weather isn't nice you are very happy when you have an interesting place like this. I enjoyed every cent and I learned a lot about fishes I only know from holidays in the Caribbean and Pacific Ocean... So if you stay there, don't wait for bad weather... Enjoy this interesting place.

Nice place with underwater creatures. If you came around 14:00 you can see how they feed them. Octopus is the best!

I was very impress by all the creatures in there, some of them reminded me of Home (Mauritius) and others amazed me. I felt like a little kid in that aquarium, they is so many different species you just want to look at each one of them for hours. I am sure that in Summer it must be more entertaining... More

I was very disappointed with this aquarium. It's small and contains smaller sized species of fish. It was very dark and not a lot to offer.

Hi Libbibelle, thanks for your review. We are sorry to hear about your visit at our attraction. As the worlds leading aquarium-brand we believe that the beauty of the oceans can not just be seen in big creatures. Let us - for example - take the octopus: he's smaller then a human fist, but did u know that these guys... More

I like aquariums and this one was ok but it was very pricey given the size. I have been to larger ones that are similarly priced and better. There are a variety of fish and other aquatic animals for you to enjoy. Most signs are in German and English. If you search online or in hotels you might find 2-for-1... More

The whole place is a little run-down and we had hoped for more. The display was smaller than we had expected, but nevertheless very interesting and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We could however NOT recommend the food - stay well away from it - there is good food elsewhere in Königswinter.

This is now one of my favorite Sealife Aquariums, and I've made a hobby of visiting as many as possible. This one throws jurassic sealife into the mix, the usual pirate decor is more elaborate, and to go with the nearby Dragon's Rock castle, ruins, and lore, there's a dragon skeleton and treasure cave. Beautifully crafted!
