For a raining day

It's really nice museum for adults and kids. It's really a plus, that you can experience the museum, especially for the kids. We will go again soon.

This place is an absolute must-have-seen. Alternating exhibitions make this unique institution a new experience every couple of months - over and over again. Mirrors, puzzles, experiments for all ages will help you spend a fun day with kids or without, even on a rainy day.

This museum always has changing display, which are intresting and we'll presented. NOT all explanations are in German which was helpful to me. The craftsmanship of begone era's was quit amazing. A great place for children and inquisitive teens with some hands on exhibts

I wasn't too sure about this as a day out as it is described as a maths museum...not really my idea of fun for my 8 year old daughter. But as it was miserable outside we decided to give it a try.... And had a great time! €18 euro family ticket to enter, ample public parking close by, a big... More

Mathematikum has become in a relatively short time one of Gießen's "must-sees", especially for families with children. There's a bit of something for everyone and adults will also find themselves surprisingly fascinated and amused here.

This place is amazing eventhough situated in a tiny town of giessen. Small place yet lots of stuff arranged neatly and will keep young children occupied for good couple of hours. And they wouldn't want to leave.

An excellent place to visit especially on a rainy day when you need something to do with children. Many hands on exhibits explore aspects of math and science.

Fully interactive exhibits of physics and maths in a form that kids and adults could both enjoy. Three stories of hands on science education. We visited on a Monday and had the museum virtually to ourselves. Build da vinci's bridge or tessellations or create music using random dice throws see the Wankel engine and an enigma machine and find your... More

If you are a friend of this science you will be happy. Especially children seemed to like it. Me as an adult with a personal allergy against maths completely felt lost and bored there. So for me nothing special and I would not visit it again.
