Such a simple church, yet stunning! Stoppped real quick to take pictures of the church, and the views are really neat of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau. Beautiful area!

// I...More

We found this quite lonely church while we were planing the route from hotel to the Neuschwanstein Castle. Some stunning photos attracted us here. It is located at a very convenient place for whom staying at Schwangau. And we did took some beautiful pictures there.

A lovely little church which sat alone in the snow against a beautiful backdrop of the mountains. Just a great shame it wasn't open to see inside, we did peep through a window next to the door.

This little church you've probably seen on a calendar with Neuschwanstein in the background. Take time, even 10 minutes and you won't be disappointed !

We turned the corner and noticed this little church standing alone in the meadow. It has a very pretty interior, which was lovely to wander around, or sit quietly and reflect. Neuschwanstein Castle is just up the hill on the left from the church.

We drove past the church in the early afternoon. It is quite beautiful, standing by itself with green meadows around, and the castles and mountains behind. We were disappointed that the door was firmly locked - from what we could make out the church is...More

The church is surrounded by a farmland, along the road to Ludwig Castel. It's in Schwangau, a city near Fussen in Baviera Land (Germany).
