The area is some 2hrs from the Dutch border. The slopes are not that long and if you're a beginner very good to practice and go the next time to Austria. Lifting is good organised and it's not so massive attended as in Tirol. Everywhere...More

Pistes are in good condition but very short for experienced skiers. In the weekends and especially during official Dutch vacation periods way too crowded. There seems to be no limit on sold number of ski passes so avoid during that time.

Good sledge slope for kids, although only one slope for sledge. Inexpensive chair lift to come up or one could even walk. Decent cafe/bar both down and up. Can also hire ski and sledge if don’t bring one. Parking easier if get there before 11am.

Descent park, great for beginners. Allot of short runs. The black runs are short drop offs. That being said it’s a great park for beginners to learn the basics.

Nice place for someone who wants to do king of warm up before skiing in Alps or for someone who wants to learn how to ski. There is a lot of lifts and slopes.

We enjoyed our 2 day skiing at Winterbert, and were amazed that they managed to get such a reasonable amount of ski possibilities out of their limited natural potential. Very good for a warm-up to a "real" ski holiday.

This is one of the bigger areas to ski, and it has slopes for the absolute beginners and the more experienced skiers. Waiting time is usually ok, as long as you avoid the weekends.
