After a town walk I discovered the church, and though it was officially closed, the doors were still open and I stepped in. No warden in sight, no other visitors. I sat down in the small chapel to rest and pray. I tried to light...More

This church is lovely both inside and out and when we visited on a weekday it was bustling with students, again, both inside and out. A real treat for us was listening to some students practicing on the pipe organ!

Very nice inside the church. Climb up to the top of the bell tower for a small charge. Very healthy climb up steep spiral staircase. Worth the climb for a great view of the old city.

Beautiful. Amazing. We paid the 1€ to climb the tower. Wow. What a beautiful view. Just breathtaking. We were then bessed by being able to watch the choir practice.

This beautiful old church has majestic bells that echo through the Aldstadt. On some days (but not others) you can climb to the top for one euro and get a spectacular view of the city. Trouble is, you don't know in advance which days will...More
