We understand that the winter is over and spring hasn't begun but the service and enthusiasm was pretty poor up here. One you are in the boats you are a captive market. I'd suggest bringing your own lunch and drinks.

Surrounded by snow capped mountains and frozen water when I was there, it's pretty. White snow on the ground, it's very picturesque and cold.

Well this is quite a surprising church... You're on a Ferry on Konigssee, on your way to the other side of this beautiful lake for a walk along the banks of the Obersee and farther to a fall... And suddenly you see far on the...More

The church is an iconic landmark for the boat trip. It looks more photo generic when you are still in the boat with mountain and trees!

If you visit Königssee, do also visit St. Bartholomä church. If you don't like a long walk, you can only reach it by boat. Don't mind the price. The trip gives you views of the lake you would otherwise never get.

The little church of St. Bartholomä can only be reached by boat, this costs around €15. The journey takes about 30 minutes and gives you views of the lake you would otherwise never get. The little church is world famous and on almost all tourist...More

This church isn't just a little unusual due to it's shape and It's coloured roof, this church has the best location of any church I have ever seen. When arriving by boat, it has a magical feel, it appears rather small with huge mountains shadowing...More

I feel a bit uncomfortable reviewing a church, but it is a tourist attraction here, so here goes. The image of the church from the outside is known from every tourist guide, but unfortunately that was all there was for me. It wasn't so easy...More

Get down at the last stop - Salet. You can go walking to Obersee. Hike. And then get back to the pier. Make sure you start early. The ticket counter is crowded and the last boat leaves sometime between 16:00-18:00
