If you visit Königssee, do also visit St. Bartholomä church. If you don't like a long walk, you can only reach it by boat. Don't mind the price. The trip gives you views of the lake you would otherwise never get.

Get down at the last stop - Salet. You can go walking to Obersee. Hike. And then get back to the pier. Make sure you start early. The ticket counter is crowded and the last boat leaves sometime between 16:00-18:00
