To approach St. Bartholomew with the boat is something you have to do yourself. The church is very simple compaire with other catholic churches in Bavaria

This is the first stop if you get onto the ship from the lake. Such beautiful stop this is to hike and immerse into the beauty of nature. The church is peaceful and has beautiful interiors. What is there outside the church is what brings...More

Don't bother checking out the interior unless you plan to stop for a bite at one of the restaurants. It's a lovely feature as part of a landscape photo, but it's quite bare bones inside.

We took the boat to the church and the ride was fantastic. The echo of the trumpet in the middle of the lake was fascinating. Koenigssee had lovely restaurants around the lake and the fish was delicious

It was a wonderful, easy, peaceful outing surrounded by amazing mountains and greenery, I spent 3 hours just walking around the woods, looking at the lake and just drink in the serenity of this place. Simply beautiful!

Worth to step out from the ferry on the ride to the other side of Köningsee. Although nothing special to do except visiting the church and having a snack or drink in the cafes beside.

We saw St.Bartholomew´s Church on the boat trip by Lake Koenigs See. It was a nice experience, also a shorter walk through the woods around the church.

I‘ve been living in Bavaria for years but I hadn‘t known this fantastic lake. One day, my friends from Malaysia asked me whether I had visited this wonderfully lake before but I had no idea what he meant. When I was back in Germany again,...More

The main reason I went to Konigsee was the hiking so St. Bartholomew's Church was more of a passing sight than a main visit. It is cool to see as you approach in the boat, but there is not much to see inside of it...More

Get down at the last stop - Salet. You can go walking to Obersee. Hike. And then get back to the pier. Make sure you start early. The ticket counter is crowded and the last boat leaves sometime between 16:00-18:00
