The cable car and chair lift are closed for major renovations so they are closed for many months. I also saw no notice anywhere until we drove from Salzburg 😢

The Jennerbahn is being rebuilt and is not in operation. However, there is plenty to do in the surrounding area to make up for this.

Just went up for the view and enjoyed a hot soup on top. The guys are very friendly and the view is stunning. It was a Tuesday we went so not really busy but some enjoyed skiing and snowboarding.

Thanks for the response. Too bad! We will be in Schonau am Konigssee in September 2017. I was really looking forward to the beautiful views from on top. Do you know of any other cable cars in the area?
