About Bayerische Seenschifffahrt
Lying in majesterial aura and aloofness, surrounded by towering rock faces, the emerald Königssee resembles a fjord set in the Bavarian alps. A sightseeing trip is an unique experience at any time of the year: in spring, mighty waterfalls thunder down over the steep rocks into the lake. Summer brings a rich, green contrast to the barren rock. Autumn paints a colourful tone poem of incomparable splendour. And if ice conditions allow, winter presents an unforgettable landscape.

This is lovely boat trip via environmentally friendly electric boats, coupled with a beautiful haunting trumpet melody that’s enchantingly echoed by the mountains. Marred somewhat by the cap-in-hand request for tips, the trip is otherwise enjoyable and reveals some beautiful views apart from the musical...More

The boats of Koenigsee take you to all of the amazing spots on the lake. A round trip on the boat will take you a couple hours, so if you have plans to explore, be sure to plan a half to full day on this.

Having grown up next to lakes and boats, the boat as such wasn't so spectacular for me, though I understand the appeal for people with less experience on water. Still, the scenery from the boat was spectacular. Combine that with the stillness of the surroundings...More

An unforgettable trip on the lake, the boats are well maintained and you get a great commentary as you proceed up the lake. I recommend to pre-book online as the queues can be quite long. Although it is a very popular tourist attraction, you still...More

It's a beautiful place to visit. We took the boat to the very end. We walked 15 minutes to a smaller lake.
