Old mill that’s still in use. You can have a look to see the inner workings and how they process the grain to make bread.

Simply nice. In my childhood, I used to see such things in pictures only. It was amazing to see it while visiting the archeological park Xanten.

We stopped to see the windmill. For $1 you can climb the ladders to see the inner workings. We were very lucky to be there when they started grinding wheat. Very neat to see it in operation!

This is a nice and large windmill. It is located in the old and beautiful town of Xanten and also close the archeological park. I liked the town better than the park except for the very cool museum.

Was part of the original wall as a tower and later converted into a wind mill. Now operating as a bakery. Great place for a photo.
