This is a small house with a lot of history. The IPAD worked in opening up the various layers of the history of this house which is 300 years old. The guide was also helpful in answering questions we had.

This home is an untouched home from the time of the earliest settlers on L'Isle d'Orleans. Tours are on an I-Pad, so they can be at your own pace. It is very small, so it does not take a long time. Buy tickets at Maison...More

The house which has a modest entry fee shows a well preserved example of an island home that was used for more then 200 years. You are provided with an iPad for a guided tour of the house which takes about 40 minutes. Worth a...More

The house is beautifully preserved and the voices and photos bring it to life on the tablet. I don't think I ever could have survived going to the brook to get water at 30 below every day in the winter!

Preserved house from the 1700's. Although I found the visit kind of boring (you take a tablet and watch 27 short videos related to each room of the house), it was interesting to imagine life at that period.

Interessant sur le travail et la vie de famille a la campagne aux 17e-20e siecles. Fascinating view of everyday life and work in the countryside starting in the mid-1600's. Point the iPad (provided) at any object or piece of furniture in the house that interests...More

Wonderful surprise to see so much history well preserved in this small country house. The descriptions on the portable computer pads make the visit easy to understand and learn from. All history buffs should make this at least a one hour stop.
