Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I was in the old town area with my girlfriend on a day trip to Constanta. It is the old part of the German city overlooking the lake of the same name. Here you can admire beautiful Germanic buildings and visit shops and clubs. The streets are limited traffic so you can walk around freely. Nearby is the train station so you can easily reach the center by public transport from other locations.

It is the central foutain in the Shopping street. It features also metal sculpture of a big horse , which kids often mount. Also some smaller metal scultures, woman, rabits and birds.
Very nice to sit there and watch the people walking by.

Konstanz has a beautiful old city center. I loved walking around there, to brows the little shops and to look around. Lot's of restaurants and cafes around to stop and have a break. Nice place...
A lot of Swiss tourists here though and that reflects in the prices in the city.

The fountain is covered up in the winter. The area around the fountain is great for shopping and strolling through. Lots of shops done are chains but you can also find lots of little unique shops. There are plenty of parking areas but some of the garages are really tight and difficult to navigate.

I stayed several years in Konstanz and love this city, especially all places and streets close to the lake. People are friendly but during summer time too many tourists. Close to Konstanz is the island “Mainau” which is worth to be visited, but not during weekends.

It is conveniently located for locals and visitors. You can park near the main station and access shops, banks or the Post Office. Markstätte is an interesting setting.

Don’t go there on a rainy day, like us, because the otherwise busy, full of life Marketplace looks miserable. Since the Kaiserbrunnen, that we wanted to see is there we tried to ignore the rain, but when everything is dripping wet around, including you, the sightseeing isn’t a real pleasure. It is true, that there are many possibilities for shopping, and restaurants (overpriced), to sit outside – yes, but not on a day like this – and watch the other holiday makers around you, but after the walk around the Kaiserbrunnen, we felt enough of Marktstatte. We could only blame the weather.Luckily, when the Wine Festival opened at 5 o'clock, even the sun started to shine.

The Konstanzer Marktstatte is probably the busiest spot in the city. It offers department stores, café/restaurants, a movie theatre, retail shops, bread shops, ice cream parlors and more. During the summer, the café/restaurants have the sidewalks lined with chairs and tables and it’s a great, sunny spot to relax and people watch.
This area is popular with tourists and locals alike. Just expect to pay a little more for dining here in this pedestrian zone as to some of the other side streets, as you are paying for the view as well.

I was here in the summer, so lots of people watching time. There are so many interesting shops to stop in and see and so many nice places to get something to eat that you can't come just once. Lots of little nooks and crannies to find.
