About
COME VISIT OUR WINE TOURS AND TASTING AND STAY WITH US. It's in the wild nature of the volcanic soil of Vesuvius that comes the old farmhouse where the winery Sorrentino has chosen to delight its visitors with its typical products. The cottage is located in a strategic area from which views can appreciate the natural beauty of the Sorrento Peninsula, the Isle of Capri and Ischia. 25 hectares of vineyards, delimited by olive groves, represent a perfect arena where experiences of our ancestors 800, ancient legends and modern studies, found a combination to offer visitors a fascinating landscape in the footsteps of the myth Itineraries wine Lacryma Christi of Vesuvio D.O.C.; wine famous worldwide for its inimitable characteristics which the company is sponsoring for years. Together with the products such as Aglianico , Passito and extra virgin olive oil contribute to complete the gastronomic offer of the company. The real feature is the area's climate is ideal allowing the vine to give their best wines giving Sorrentino tastes wonderful fruity and lively. The wine tasting takes place in a room inside the house can accommodate about 100 people. The company offers a wide range of wines in the right combination to typical dishes of the culinary tradition of Vesuvius. The cottage has an area devoted to the showroom where visitors can buy the wines as well as by Sorrentino's website.

Me and a couple friends had booked hoping to do some wine tasting. We called and asked for a taxi transfer but realising the language barrier and that they didn’t really understand we repeatedly told them that we would sort it ourselves and be there for the booking at 2:30. We arrived at 2:30 and the lady who I assume to be a manager of some sort was extremely rude and told us she’d ordered a taxi for us. We apologised and said it had obviously been a miscommunication. We had booked on the website but it was in Italian and had accidentally booked for lunch. We asked if we could just do some wine tasting instead as we had just eaten. She then continued to yell at us and make us feel unwelcome and talked down to. During our conversation with her she also answered the phone and continued to ignore us which was very unprofessional. We then at this point decided to leave due to the sheer lack of disrespect.

We were taken here as part of a tour of Pompeii and Vesuvius. We were taken to a room packed with crammed tables, while the rest of the restaurant was very spacious. We were clearly second class visitors along with the rest of the tour group.

My daughter was desperately hungry to the point that she felt sick, and despite asking 3 times in italian if she could have her pasta as soon as possibly, they proceeded to serve 5 other tables before us.
No consideration. Plates dumped on the table. Rude service to any customer asking for gluten free.

The food itself was pretty basic. Bruscetta, tomato pasta and a marmalade tart for pudding.
Overall very disappointing, and the staff were only interested in selling wine.
Avoid this place.

Caveat emptor! During a lunch stop on their premises for a tour organized by Sorrento Tourist Office (a tour operator, NOT a government entity), in October 2022 I bought 150€ worth of their wine to be delivered to my home in Spain. The shipper (UPS) never contacted me to attempt delivery and returned the wine to Sorrentino Vini–who then refused to either reattempt delivery or refund my payment. This is a highly disreputable way of doing business and moreover reflects badly on the region and country as a whole. Shame on you, Sorrentino Vini!

We had a group meal in the late afternoon - a classic Italian light dinner, with good vegetarian options. We were also treated to an enjoyable wine-tasting experience. Food, service and ambience of the restaurant were very good.
The place is located in a pleasant vineyard and the views from the area are good.

Visited here with family and got a great prix fixe lunch (they serve what they feel goes) with wine tasting that was fantastic. All of the wines tasted were lovey if not a little on the more expensive side. That of course did not keep us from taking bottles home with us! The servers were friendly and knowledgeable, and kept us well fed while sampling their offerings. An awesome way to spend a lunch when visiting the sites near Vesuvius!

We stayed at the estate for 2 days and enjoyed every minute of it. We were hosted by the wonderful Carmella, one of the estate’s sommeliers, who guided us through their exquisite collections of wines. The lunches were amazing, and the cooking class is highly recommended. If you have the chance, stay overnight at the landhouse, in the midst of the vineyards, to enjoy a one of a kind panorama. Thanks Carmella!!!

We had a delicious wine pairing and meal at a stop on our way from Positano to Rome. Our driver recommended the stop and it was delicious. The staff was fantastic and the food and wine incredible. Disregard the negative reviews, they are incorrect about this place. Highly recommend.

Had a wonderful visit at this winery. We started with a private tour of the vineyard. Learned about the history of the vines and property. We were then escorted inside for a spectacular wine and food pairing. The views are outstanding. We loved the wine so much we had some shipped to the US.

After Rome my next stop was Sorrentino winery for lunch and a tour. Never did I expect such a memorable experience. The winery with its grapes vines and olive trees was truly breathtaking. The highlight was our lunch hosted by the owners Antonio and Elenia and their granddaughter Paola. Had the best home cooked meal with wine sampling that was truly wondeful!!! Go, Go, Go you won't be dis appointed!!!
