We got to Yardenit before all the tour buses arrived and it was perfect. The gift shop has a lot of nice souvenirs. When we walked out to the Jordan river we went to the right where there was a couple of benches. This was...More

This was a pleasing and picturesque site that is very meaningful to the Christian Pilgrims. We saw many people being baptized while we were there. It was nice that they could have this experience under supervision and professional management. The spot is not too far...More

To be baptized in the Jordan River - what a wonderful experience for some of the members of our group! While I personally did not get baptized there, several members of our group did, and I was able to help them. There are locker-room-type changing...More

This beautiful, quiet spot on the Jordan River is the perfect place for a baptism or rededication. Bring your own pastor, or they provide one. They also provide a towel and robe and showers. Bring your own soap, shampoo and hair dryer.

Religious people know the place and bus loads from all over the world come for (second) baptismal. Worth watching in any case.

This is a very interesting place. Somewhere on the Jordan River John the Baptist baptised Jesus. I am curious about why the water was so green. There were a lot of fish in the water. It was very beautiful.

Here on the Jordon river is a site familiar with the Baptism site. It is not the true site but very close to where John the Baptist did perform baptisms. Very busy site and a tourist trap in that one must enter and leave thru...More

My heart sank when we entered a huge car park full of tourist buses. Next, we had to enter through a huge complex selling over-priced souvenirs, most of which had probably been manufactured in China. Outside, there is very little to eat and drink unless...More

Hey fitam, We do not have lockers in the showers. Our guests take their bags with them to the River which is only 25 meters away.
