About
Hot Glass Fiji is Fiji's first glass blowing studio, where glass is hand blown to create beautiful souvenirs and memories of Fiji. The studio is free to visit and we offer a unique and hugely enjoyable glassblowing experience for anyone who would like to try glassblowing - make your own stunning souvenir of fantastic Fiji! The work is inspired by the cool colours of the sea, the luscious greens of the rain forest and the traditional Fijian textures and long used traditional craft skills. Hot Glass Fiji has designed and made pieces of art which can be used or just admired in your homes. Each piece is a unique and wonderful memory of Fiji. All are welcome to come to the studio located in our lush tropical garden overlooking the ocean on Sunset Strip, Korotogo. Take the time to watch the fascinating process of glass blowing, browse and buy our unique Fiji made glassware.

Our family enjoyed this lovely, hands-on experience. Peter and Sam guided us expertly through making our own pieces, which will be a lasting memory of Fiji. A big thank you to Alex and all the team.

AWESOME and unique activity!!! This was a true highlight of our honeymoon! The experience at hot glass Fiji was very hands on and informative. We were lucky to have some expert interactive teaching from Peter and Sam who explained, then showed us, then guided us to make our own beautiful pieces. Alex was also on site explaining more about the process. We learned so much, and it felt safe and fun the whole time! Plus, everyone was so friendly! We most certainly will treasure them with fond memories!
I cannot recommend this place highly enough! We bought a bunch of gifts for Mother’s Day coming up too and they are perfectly wrapped to travel and take home. Also, there is tons of stuff to do in the area and it makes a great day trip from hotels closer to Denarau or Nadi. The drive is beautiful and you can also do the National park sand dunes and grab tasty seafood lunch.
In summary- go to Hot Glass Fiji! Vinaka and thank you!!!

A truly fantastic experience! Our expert tutor Laisa helped us select what to make, and what colours and patterns to use. We chose glasses with different colours & patterns, and after much rolling, blowing, and twisting - and under the super careful supervision of Laisa and Samu - we produced two fine drinking glasses! The whole experience was 2nd to none, and we can't recommend it highly enough. A big thanks to Alex, Laisa & Samu for making our day!

If you are in Fiji and look for a change from sand, sea and sun, try blowing your own piece of glassware. We, including our 10 year old daughter, had a lovely time learning and than blowing our own tumblers and plates. Thanks, Alice!

Thank you for the lovely review and thank you for visiting us at the studio. We have been really happy to have locals and locally based people come and try glassblowing at the studio over the last few months - it has really helped that we have been able to open up a couple of times a week and get our fantastic staff into the studio.
Vinaka and hope to see you here again soon!

We enjoyed watching the glass blowing, they were making a set of glasses which were beautiful. They explained the process of glass blowing, and their beautiful work was displayed throughout the room, including the bathroom!! We did purchase a small bowl, which now I have a wonderful memory.

Bula Sunny,
Thank you very much for the lovely review! Sorry we didn't reply straight away - things have obviously been a little strange for the last few months. We're so glad you enjoyed visiting us and hope the bowl keeps your wonderful memories safe for you.

We spent a great morning at Alice's workshop, visiting and blowing one piece of glass under their supervision. Great team, very professional and lovely people who are passionate and likes sharing their art and skills with visitors.
One can bring back home the little creation we made, and buy the colourful and beautiful creations Alice and her skilled Fijian team make. The workshop itself is a lovely place located on the sea side. We're very happy of this rare opportunity to do such a craft and admiring the pieces they design which integrate, play and renew Fijian traditional patterns and objects in a foreign art.

The workshop is only open a few days a week but we were fortunate to arrive just as some visitors had their personal lessons and were able to watch. Fascinating!

If you want a touch of Fiji, have it in glass. I was at Hot Glass Fiji 2 years ago and rated it one of the best place, and I must do it again. You can blow your own glass with their glass blowing classes or pick something from their inventory of artisan made glass pieces. I purchased glass pieces in the shape and color of the frangipani flower, great souvenir from the Fiji Islands. In fact, all the colors and associated products will remind you for Fiji...very nicely done.

Apart from being a very interesting craft, is the participation suitable for 8 and 12 year olds?

Hi, we offer glass blowing experiences from 8yrs up. With the children we give them the option to either do a sand casting experience (where they prepare a mold and we cast the molten glass in) or to make a hot piece of glass. If you visit our website there is a description of experiences on offer.
We are open Tuesday through to Friday 10am to 3pm. Ideally we like to book our experiences in prior to arrival. If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to contact us through our website.
Thanks,
Alice
