About
Hot Glass Fiji is Fiji's first glass blowing studio, where glass is hand blown to create beautiful souvenirs and memories of Fiji. The studio is free to visit and we offer a unique and hugely enjoyable glassblowing experience for anyone who would like to try glassblowing - make your own stunning souvenir of fantastic Fiji! The work is inspired by the cool colours of the sea, the luscious greens of the rain forest and the traditional Fijian textures and long used traditional craft skills. Hot Glass Fiji has designed and made pieces of art which can be used or just admired in your homes. Each piece is a unique and wonderful memory of Fiji. All are welcome to come to the studio located in our lush tropical garden overlooking the ocean on Sunset Strip, Korotogo. Take the time to watch the fascinating process of glass blowing, browse and buy our unique Fiji made glassware.

- Alex P2 contributionsgreat glass blowing experience! This was a wonderful break from all the sun and surf. We wandered off the beach in Korotogo to visit Alice and her team at Hot Glass Fiji. There was a gang of us and we were expertly guided by the lovely Peter and Sam in the making of our own glasses, vases and plates and got the chance to see the master (Alice) at work in the making of one of her famous "wave plates" in a lovely mix of ocean colours. We had a great laugh and learned a lot about the art and techniques of glass making. We are leaving with a box full of our own efforts and the professional product for our home back in the US. Found out about this place on trip advisor an so glad we did. The studio offered some really great pieces at reasonable prices. They had chairs set up where you could sit and watch the glass making process as long as you wanted too. Met the owner and staff and they were very welcoming. They also offer classes if you want to make your own glass. Very cool experience.

We were at Fiji Hot Glass to experience the glass blowing lesson and to look at the wonderful pieces made by Alice and her team. We did this with our 10 yr old daughter who absolutely loved the lesson and was able to create her own piece based on her own inspiration with help from Peter and the others.
The lesson is an explanation about the glass blowing proces whilst being demonstrated. This made it fun to watch, easy to follow and not to lengthy. Followed by blowing your own glass piece with the help and guidance of the team. Amazing to see how from nearly nothing you can make something so quickly. However to see the final result the glass needs to cool down before you can see the full end result which you can take home with you.
We would highly recommend to visit Fiji Hot Glass if you are looking for a fun and a bit different activity and/or if want to take something special home from your trip to the Fijian islands.

A truly fantastic experience! Our expert tutor Laisa helped us select what to make, and what colours and patterns to use. We chose glasses with different colours & patterns, and after much rolling, blowing, and twisting - and under the super careful supervision of Laisa and Samu - we produced two fine drinking glasses! The whole experience was 2nd to none, and we can't recommend it highly enough. A big thanks to Alex, Laisa & Samu for making our day!

AWESOME and unique activity!!! This was a true highlight of our honeymoon! The experience at hot glass Fiji was very hands on and informative. We were lucky to have some expert interactive teaching from Peter and Sam who explained, then showed us, then guided us to make our own beautiful pieces. Alex was also on site explaining more about the process. We learned so much, and it felt safe and fun the whole time! Plus, everyone was so friendly! We most certainly will treasure them with fond memories!
I cannot recommend this place highly enough! We bought a bunch of gifts for Mother’s Day coming up too and they are perfectly wrapped to travel and take home. Also, there is tons of stuff to do in the area and it makes a great day trip from hotels closer to Denarau or Nadi. The drive is beautiful and you can also do the National park sand dunes and grab tasty seafood lunch.
In summary- go to Hot Glass Fiji! Vinaka and thank you!!!

Hot Glass studio was on our must visit agenda, and it didn’t fail to impress us!
We got to see them doing the glass blowing and see the final product. Their display of items for sale was excellent and very reasonably priced which we took advantage of and came away with some amazing glassware.
They packaged it well as we got it home in one piece. Since arriving back in Australia, we have checked out their website and have purchased more online which was a quick and easy process as they responded in fast time.

We stopped here on the way to Suva as I had randomly found this place online and wanted to have a look in person. The place was so cute, kind of like a treehouse and full of glass trinkets. We didn't get to watch a glass blowing demonstration that day, but the store was cool. The tumblers, sculptures and bowls all caught our eye and we struggled to choose just one. In the end we chose a glass coconut, which they use the actual coconut husk to mold, so they're all unique and a small glass sand dollar. Perfect little souvenirs to remember our Fijj holiday!.

Bula Annelore,
Thank you very much for stopping by the studio and for the lovely review.
We generally have the furnace on 2-3 days a week when we blow glass and offer glassblowing experiences; on other days we do kilnwork , coldwork and finishing .
The glass coconuts are very cool - we hope yours brings you many fond memories of Fiji!

Thank you very much for visiting our studio and for your kind review - it certainly can get pretty warm in a glass blowing studio in the tropics in January! Luckily the sea breezes normally keep us a little cooler.
I'll pass on your compliments to Peter, and hope to see you back here some time.

Hi, we offer glass blowing experiences from 8yrs up. With the children we give them the option to either do a sand casting experience (where they prepare a mold and we cast the molten glass in) or to make a hot piece of glass. If you visit our website there is a description of experiences on offer.
We are open Tuesday through to Friday 10am to 3pm. Ideally we like to book our experiences in prior to arrival. If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to contact us through our website.
Thanks,
