Great scenery and view of the city! Ice cream near by by but they are trifling. Barbaric behaviors near the ice cream!!! Just enjoy the scene.

This promenade named after the great Canadian painter, Horatio Walker, is a leisurely walk through time. His home and studio are there. The views out onto the St. LAwrence are breath-taking. Now, I know why he chose this place to live and paint.

The Horatio Walker Promenade is simply a wide road that hugs the water as you either walk, ride or drive. It passes the home of the famous Canadian artist too. Did you know that this artist's work fetched prices as high as Rembrandt in the...More

So nice to sit by the water, learn about Horatio Walker's art and enjoy a chocolate. My favorite was the Orleans Dark Chocolate with Raspberry filling. Gorgeous!

Great perspective on the river and how Quebec City was such an important part of history. Lovely little stroll on a warm day. Limited parking so probably tough to access on a busy summer day.

The Promenade Horatio Walker offers a peaceful stroll and different views of Quebec, along with a nice fresh breeze from the St. Lawrence River. Personally, as we did, I would recommend grabbing ice cream and/or chocolates at the Chocolaterie d'Ile d'Orleans, and taking a walk...More

It was a joy to walk along the shore and see the city and the distant landscape. This peaceful little stop on a beautiful island can give you a great perspective. Ice cream is not required.

We could not find it..were looking for it..so maybe needs better labelling? Tried to find the Maple guy but could not find him either. But did find the Observation tower!! Delightfully cute houses but no where to pull over to photograph them.

Grab an ice cream next to the Chocolaterie then enjoy a beautiful walk along the picturesque shore. Remember to keep noise to a minimum as you pass the local homes as you are literally at their doorstep. Best views are at sunset.

Simply, if you like back to normal, GO! Wonderful along waterfront, etc. parking quite full and at the end of a small winding road, a bed and breakfast, and if it is high-tide, wait a few hours to get in or out!
