Great place to stop and walk the wooden stairs to the top of this observation tower. Bring your jacket; gets mighty cold up there even in June.

This looks like a nice spot to visit in the summer time. But we were there in winter and it was cold and windy. Tower was closed and snow was deep. Looks like a good sledding spot. (Snowmobile)

Climb up the 84 stairs to the top of the Observation Tower. From there, you can see well into the distance 360 deg.

If you can easily walk up the stairs to the top of the observation deck you will be treated to a good view of the island, its fields (different shape than agricultural fields elsewhere) and the river. Good photo op although it was pouring rain...More
