My young children and I attended a gathering of friends with all ranges of ages and we all had a great time. There are braai areas, plenty of trails and shade and everyone had fun jumping in the river.

The Hilcrest community is proud of this little wonder of nature in the middle of the suburb. Many activities happen at the reserve, especially during school holidays.
