dangerous beach due to the streams , safe beach is quite tiny, when we were there it was July with north-west wind ... COLD !

Beautiful beaches here. Pretty town with lots of boutique shops and places to eat. Narrow roads though so navigating through the town centre and along the coast road can be a bit nailbiting trying to avoid clipping other vehicles. Get there early otherwise you will...More

A great place for rock scrambling but not for swimming - too dangerous - currents and undertow on a steeply shelving shore. Great for a picnic and kids got a lot more out of it than they would a flat beach with just sand.

This is a lovely sandy beach just a couple of miles from les Sables d'Olonne, and unlike the massive beach, both in length and depth, fronting that town, it is quite small and fairly intimate. It is also far less crowded, and therefore more relaxing....More

Enjoyed a cool walk through the forest then back along the sandy beach in the hot sunshine! A beach cafe would have been nice to sit and admire the great view whilst cooling down with an ice cold drink.
