On a clear day you can't beat a stroll along this small stretch of beach with the ferries passing by. Very close to the port of Calais. It is walkable from the ferry port.

Love walking on the beach in summer as it is shallow and covered by life guards but also like walking the promonade in the autumn as the air is fresh and clean. Good facilities with toilets available along walk and food outlets for snacks or...More

This is one of my favourite beaches and it's great both for children and adults. This year we were staying in Calais in october and even though it wasn't so warm it's definitely worth a visit.

An almost empty beach but very beautiful you can sit on it and watch the shipping entering and leaving port. Only found a chippy open.

The beach at Calais, is surprisingly very good. Don't just rush through, take time to explore Calais and all it has to offer.

Huge sandy beach. Busy but not crowded. Lots of places for drinks, chips and ice creams. Parking good but arrive early. Also free. Long promenade to walk along. Lovely day out.

If you're in Calais for a weekend the beach is worth a look just for a paddle if it's warm enough. We went Aug Bank Hol & it was busy on that occasion as the weather was warm, but it's a nice sandy beach to...More
