I have always wanted to see this cathedral so I made a special trip from Bapaume to Amiens during some Great War battlefield visits. This cathedral is exceptional. Mass was still going on inside when I arrived. I am glad that I made the trip.

There is a tour that takes you up there and you need to check with the ticket office and shop to the immediate left of the Cathedral. Google Amiens cathedral Tours for more. Don't miss it.
