This fortification is great to look at just from the outside. Once inside go right up to the top of the donjon and you'll find a wooden framework. This is the only one of its kind in all of France and only one of three...More

Visited and took advantage of very reasonably priced guided tour including the Tower which looks down over the streets of the town. We had a guide just for the two of us

Located in the centre of town is easily accessible. Reasonable priced and free for children. The visit gives you a brief, interesting and accurate inside of the history of the castle and the city. Pleasant views from top windows. Nice small herb garden outside.

This is the wonderful old Chateau of Laval in the old quarter / historic quarter of old town. It's so big that you'll see it long before you reach it. Massive walls with turreted tower facade. Walls and ramparts can be walked and explored, lots...More
