The fountain seems to go off on the hour and is worth looking at as you wander up to the old town. It's about twenty individual fountains which give a good display.

It was hard to find a parking space long enough to take my LWB Movano van, but I'm glad I persevered so that I could go and look at this fine bridge. It proved to be well worth the time and trouble.

A great spot to while away the time - beautiful setting and probably one of the classic views of Laval. While you're there - visit the floating wash house nearby

Pretty location over the river, with old buildings surrounding it, such as the old Laval castle. It is easy to forget that the bustling town of Laval is only a few hundred yards away, and we can imagine better how Laval looked many decades ago.

Well worth a small detour to cross the bridge and stop and watch the river and obtain a fresh view of the buildings on both banks.
