Visited with my husband and a friend. We had a really enjoyable time, it was interesting to see how the lace was hand made and how long it took to make! No wonder it is so expensive to buy. Next time we visit we would...More

Although it has other exhibits, the museum is really about lace - even the paintings frequently feature lace clothing and seem to have been chosen for that reason. We had no idea that Alencon lace was sewn, not bobbin made, and we found the exhibits...More

Wonderful welcome, interesting and thorough explanations (many, but not all in both English & French), and truly stunning works of art in lace and featuring lace!

The lace museum was fascinating. Lots of examples and plenty of history. A good film presentation in French but with English subtitles was very good and informative. Was surprised at the detail.

A lovely little museum, some beautiful paintings but the lace making display was especially fascinating. The film (in French with English subtitles) was great and really brought it all to life!

Went to region to visit this Museum, which I remembered fondly from many years ago. The updated exhibit is great but the English translations are very short and of poor quality. The day before we visited La Bohin Manufacture (sewing needle manufacture exhibit) and were...More

A must for lovers of needlework, crafts etc. This was my second visit with a guest. The first having been some years before, also with a visitor. The video was of particular interest and had English subtitles.
