This is one of the largest and best aquariums I've been to (and we've done a few!). There's a really big range of fish - large and small. My 4 year old loved the really big sharks and the brightly coloured tropical fish. The tropical lagoon area makes a nice change from endless tanks and the addition of sealions, penguins,... More

Ended up in boulogne by chance so decided to visit the aquarium, and we are glad we did. For a family of 4 - 2 adults 2 kids paid 51 euros entry and another 3.20 for a guide book. It is very informative and educational we spent about 4 hours wandering about appreciating the various tanks. Very healthy and the... More

The aquarium at Nausicaa is a great place to visit with some wonderful exhibits. The restaurant off the foyer services excellent quality food at sensible prices.

Went all exited to visit this place. First ... it is EXPENSIVE ! Second, it is NOT KID Friendly (yea.... you heard it...) do not go with a baby in a stroller (not to mention for handicapped people), this place is designed with stairs all around. Yes there is lift... but the circuit is not design for lift users. SO... More

An excellent place to spend half a day with the kids, or indeed friends. Spread over four floors, some bits were a bit dry, but more than compensated for by the array of different ways you 'interacted' with the tanks - above, below, through, pop-up bubbles... Highlight was the ray touch tank. They have plans to double floor space and... More

My son (7) is mad for fish and sea life and we were not disappointed. We made a special trip just to go to the Nausicaa and we were bright and early on a Saturday. We did not have to worry about parking since we stayed across the street at the Hotel Matelote. By the time the crowds really started... More

We visited two weeks ago and although we enjoyed it, as other people have said, it is pricey. Photos are permitted throughout. It’s fully wheelchair accessible. There are eating-places, although we took our own food and sat and ate it on our way round. Students and unemployed discount – make sure you have written evidence, or you won’t get it!... More
