Really enjoyed our visit here. So much to see and really interactive for the kids. Particularly enjoyed the glass alligator display and the penguins, despite how crowded it was in there.

Spent around 3 hours here. They have a great variety of sea life, turtles, the largest octopus I've ever seen, huge shark exhibit. Lots of information on global warming and how it is affecting our planet...very good. Since it was low season, felt like we had it all to ourselves. And it's situated on the beach, so you can walk... Interesting exhibits on sealife - impressive aquariums with sharks and exotic fish - very instructive - they are building a brand new aquarium; it is true that some exhibits and some of the technology they use (video) is becoming a bit old fashioned in the days of 4k...

I purchased the tickets from the UK, and saved 20% on the ticket price on the gate, you also didn't have to say when you needed to use them as long as it was within a month. Nausicaa is one of the best aquariums I have seen, with clean large tanks. There were snakes, reptiles, seals and penguins. We spent... More

We hopped on Le Shuttle for a day trip to treat the kids for half term. Our first visit and didn't disappoint. The exhibitions are excellent and informative (and bilingual). The children loved being so close to the fish and spotting species they have learnt from Octonauts (!) Staff were friendly and helpful and we are looking forward to a... More

I would recommend this aquatic centre to anyone visit the area. We went for a day out just before catching the shuttle back to Folkestone. The staff were friendly, spoke good English and were very knowledgeable about the fish and exotic animals. It's worth mentioning also that along with the marine life and fish Nausicaa houses a whole load of... More

Maybe it isn't the cheapest thing to do, but it is certainly worth a visit. They are expanding the sea center and I'm returning for sure when this is finished.

Firstly parking at a premium. Not a biggie for us this time as we parked about 15 mins away but in good weather so it was a pleasant stroll along the beach / coast. However if you are less able or weather poor it may well be a problem rather than an opportunity. Lets get the cafe out of the... More
