This is a marvelous spot, fairly popular, but worth the busy-ness to enjoy the views, both the drive up to the car park, passing water falls and then the beautiful walk to the bridge, again with a gorgeous waterfall to enjoy. The stone bridge is...More

A very nice hike with views of mountains, a stream running right by, flocks of sheep and lots of other hikers. The bridge itself is nice and, as is normal in French National Parks, a good cafe to rest in. We didn't have time to...More

All info is in French so if you don’t know your French read the history before you go. Directions are not clear, so watch closely so you don’t end up on a one hour hike somewhere in the mountains.

Despite pouring rain, this visit was well worth it. The waterfalls are amazing and although the chair lift to the lake was not working on the day that we were there it was still a great experience. There is a small cafe/restaurant there which serves...More

The cable broke down on 30th Aug 2017 causing a 1 3/4 hour delay to our trip down to Le Cauteret for the second cable care journey to the Pont de L'espagne. As the cable car was not repaired until 3.30 hours, the cable car...More

We had to ski here as Cauterets was shut due to too much snow. Pont d’Espagne is beautiful, well worth going just to for the breathtaking scenery. The runs aren’t the most challenging but the views make it worth it. I’m so pleased Cauterets was...More
