We came here to hunt the geocaches in this preserve. Like others mentioned, the trails are well marked with signs and clearly defined trails. There are great informational signs telling you about some of the spectacular trees here. My little one loved running along the trails and the boardwalk and admiring the calm creek nearby. It was a nice way... More

This is a nice asset for the city of Johns Creek and actively used by the community and local scouts. The trails are clearly marked and Eagle Scouts have built raised boardwalks in the areas prone to light flooding. It is a fairly safe place to hike because the trails zig zag down the side of a wooded hill, visibility... More

Went to a musical concert in the old Moravian church that has been relocated onto the grounds of the Nature Preserve. The acoustics were surprisingly good and the evening was pleasant.

Wonderful walking trails (note...some get a little muddy after the rain). Love the historic buildings (and the cell phone tour). Only issue...on a very windy day, walking on the trails can be unsettling as you feel like a branch will fall on you. Oh ...and there are animals to feed...chickens, ducks and rabbits...so bring your quarters for the feed machine!

A place displaying nature at it's very best. No gimmicks just presenting a nature trail as it should be. Interesting displays there too, but we just enjoyed the tranquility of the nature trails.

This park is within the vicinity of Johns Creek. On the day of our visit, chestnut trees and pear trees were bearing fruits. We had a good time looking at fall flowers and housing structures that dated back to the 1870's. At the entrance, we saw a small replica of an assembly hall, with podium, bench and all.

This is a great park within the Atlanta suburbs. No need to drive all the way to the mountains. There are many family activities such as great hiking trails along the creek, historic buildings brought together from around the area to save them from urban sprawl, and even a small collection of native reptiles and amphibians. Definitely worth a visit.

There are many activities that the whole family can enjoy at Autrey Mill. Great hiking trails along the creek, historic buildings brought together from around the area to save them from urban sprawl, and even a small collection of native reptiles and amphibians. Definitely worth a visit.

My family has enjoyed coming to Autrey Mill since we moved to the area a year ago. My son has participated in the summer camps and has had a birthday party. There is a small, but nice visitors center where you can see some local reptiles, fish, and amphibians. My daughter's highlight is saying hello to Pebbles the tortoise. There... More
