I visited Eglise St, Leonard on Easter Saturday and it was so impressive. The architecture is impressive and the stained glass is very interesting. The organist was practicing for Easter Mass and the whole experience was awesome.

The gardens behind the church are a must so you may as well check out the church at the same time. It is a pretty church but there are so many beautiful cathedrals in France that this one is pretty average. The stained glass is...More

This is an old church with mostly modern windows, apparently due to World War 2. I particularly enjoyed the gargoyles on the exterior. You can visit the tower from 2pm to 7pm, it is quite a climb but well worth it. You can admire the...More

We like churches and cathedrals. They are buildings where people come to pray but also to seek peace, when not a christian. Whatever religion you have, you can always be in awe for any building of this sort, in my opion. This church has wonderful...More

This was the first place we visited in the town of Fougeres, it's very nice but after seeing so many churches and cathedrals is hard to get impressed. Nevertheless, it's a very beautiful church and from the park at it's side you can admire a...More

Great centrally-located church in Old Town Fougeres. Not a tourist attraction per se, so maybe not open regularly 9-5, but if you can catch it when it's open, the church as a beautiful interior with wonderfully-detailed stained glass of the Notre-Dame/Chartres variety depicting biblical/canonical events....More

really quite a lovely place to visit - especially when there is an exhibition on. Far larger than it looks from outside

If you are lucky you will hear the organist playing at lunchtime, which is a wonderful sound issuing forth from another vast French church.

This comes as a combined ticket with the chateau or you can climb the tower for 2 €. The tower is well worth the effort and there are stunning views on all 4 sides. The church has the most amazingly coloured stained glass windows.
