I did the tour here on Friday at 10:30 am and it was packed; probably over 50 people. Our young guide did a great job keeping the attention of the sometimes undisciplined crowd and telling us interesting stories about how crepes and cookies are made....More
We went especially one afternoon but there was absolutely no baking going on and we were all disappointed. We visited the shop which has biscuits and cakes but more gifts than food. There are glass windows all along the factory but Im guessing you need...More

Thanks for coming ! True that in late afternoon, our workers are home. Starting at 7AM, we usually stoped cooking around 3PM... But we are organizing guided tours on mornings (in french).
Primarily a shop selling cakes, biscuits and other touristy items, before you go in the shop you can look through some windows and see them making the items, it will not take a long time to view, but worth going to get some presents.
Like most Bakeries in Britanny the Galette (crêpe elswhere in France) is a local specialty. The bakery where the actual work is done can be seen trough big glass windows. there is an on site shop where locally produced cakes, galettes and other delicacies can be...More

Took the family (me, wife and two girls 5 & 6) here on a rainy morning in Brittany.
The reviews I had read suggested it would take no more than half an hour. That of course assumed they were actually making biscuits that day. We...More

I'm really sorry you couldn't see our bakers making biscuits. Unfortunately for you, they are only working from monday to saturday. That's why you didn't see anything. It would be really interesting for your childs. I hope you will come back soon.
You see the personnel at work making crêpes and cakes, behind windows. There is a large choice of local products and a nice store of souvenirs . A visit is recommended. Dont hesitate to taste samples, there is normally a large plate, ask for a...More

Of course you can go any time w:o booking ; it's a store open to the public ,selling souvenirs , crêpes and cakes . You see the personnel making crepes , preparing the batter , packaging biscuits . Dont expect a large factory ; total crew is probably 12 ; children will be interested to see making crepes . If for any reason the lady in charge of the crepes is packaging instead of producing , ask the proper time to come back or wait . It's so close to Benodet, it's convenient to come back to purchase crepes. Enjoy ! Roland
