Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My daughter, Granddaughter and I visited today and had a wonderful morning visiting indigiscape.
We purchased coffees and scones from the cute little cafe and decided to have morning tea in the playground area, but were horrified there were no rubbish bins anywhere to dispose of any rubbish.
For an “environment centre” this I feel needs to be acted upon.

Hi Carolynn, Thank you for visiting Redlands IndigiScapes Centre. Bins are located next to the car park for customers when they are exiting our site to dispose of rubbish. There are bio pack recycle bins located next to front reception for customers to dispose of take away items purchased from the Cafe. We do not have any bins located in the gardens as we have a lot of families BYO their picnics and encourage these groups to take their rubbish with them. We are conscious in our naturally beautiful environment not to be attracting pest animals whom might be curious of waste materials in this area.

Omg! I'm in love 🤣 this place is so good for a day out with the family or whoever you come along with.
Starting at the gift shop and info centre with lots to learn about. And then hop around to the cafe for some delicious food and great service.
Afterwards go for a stroll around the botanical gardens, playground and forest walks. Including seeing ducks and turtles in the pond..
Great day out for anyone and Definitely will be returning soon with the family 🙂 5/5 ⭐

We took a walk around the different tracks which was peaceful, serene and well thought out.
We then decided to have lunch at the Cafe. What a disappointment and by then it was not busy...One friend was charged $77 for a wrap and chips - the error was pointed out - she was then charged $2.50 - on the 3rd attempt the price was correct.
Staff then came to table to tell us they only had enough salmon for 1 person.
One lady opted for salmon to be replaced with a mince patty type of thing. This was frozen and deep fried. At least she got the salad with it. The other salmon had no salad as advertised, only chips and the hollandaise/airoli was off. Both those meals were served ages after we had finished our wraps.
Coffee was also wrong. Cafe was a huge disappointment but the grounds were fantastic. I will take my own next time.

Our regular visit to Indigiscapes was, as usual, perfect. It is such a peaceful and serene experience away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. One area not to be missed is the restaurant. The menu has a very healthy look about it and the staff are all very helpful and attentive. Highly recommended.

Sunday morning Walked to the cafe with my grandchildren they were excited, looking forward to takeaway milk shakes and hot chips. Although there were still empty tables we were told they were not serving takeaway as they were too busy, very disappointing

Lovely walk through the botanic garden and the two trail paths. Great place to see beautiful old trees and it’s a great habitat for the wildlife.

We had been before and wanted to return for lunch on the shady verandah where we could take in the gardens and bird calls. The menu has a focus on native ingredients. The granata drinks were welcome on a hot, muggy day. We each settled in to enjoy these accompanied by toasted pannini sandwiches which were delicious. We would have loved to have tried some of the freshly made cakes and sweets, but we just couldn't fit another bit in. Next time that's for sure! It's a great place to take international and interstate visitors to experience the area's fauna and flora. Would 100% recommend the place.

Bush tucker type food but not unsophisticated served by very friendly staff. A walk around the grounds is a must and you might see a variety of wildlife. At the moment the café is closed for a very expensive renovation . Can't wait to see the result.

Indigiscape has been a favourite destination for my family for many years - a great place to surround yourself with nature while indulging in some yummy food. We recently took some interstate visitors to the cafe and they were likewise impressed with the beauty, ambiance and food. We usually have morning/afternoon tea which features cakes, jams etc made with native ingredients. Make sure you allow time for a stroll through the native gardens and take the opportunity to buy plants, jams and locally made gifts.

This place is amazing! I have taken my son to a few of the events now and we have a blast for hours without hardly spending any money. The staff are so knowledgeable about native plants and wildlife.
