Crowded but first class museum and guides. Both Gondree and opposite restaurant, crowded and slow but the location compensates. Easily understood events. Suggest going to the museum first and then the site for better understanding.

What a bridge to see and the engineering it must have taken in that time to do this. The museum is also fantastic to visit where there is even a live presentation and lots of history

The museum and memorial location are a must see when touring WWII battle sites in Normandy. The museum, while small, does a great job telling the story of what took place on this very location at the start of the D-Day landings. The collection is...More

Excellent museum describing one of the important missions carried out by the British to secure a strategic crossing. Pays respect to practically the first allied feet to touch down on Dday hours before the beech landing took place. Original bridge can be seen together with...More

This museum explains the events that occurred at Pegasus Bridge, June 5-6, 1944. The reconstruction of the type of glider used is, by itself, worth the visit.

At least a couple of hours.......There are exhibits outside, a short film to watch and other exhibits inside. Also worth visiting nearby Cafe Gondree.
