It's just a small museum of a certain dynasty. If you have lots of time...then visit. Otherwise...beat it to the beach.

Amazing painted ceilings. So much to take in to be able to fully appreciate the story painted on the ceilings. Be aware it closes at 5pm. Highly recommended as part of a visit to east Bali.

Awesome place to know the history of Klungkung Kingdom on its era. The place is arranged as well, there are many spots available for capturing.

That's how I always introduce this palace to my guest's. I always stop here before having coffee at Klungkubg market and heading to Besakih temple.

This is a perfect spot to gain an appreciation for the beauty of Bali. So many intricately painted and constructed buildings - it’s hard to know where to look first. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained.

Part of the "City Tour" inclusive ticket with Monumen Puputan Klungkung across the road (not too exciting inside). The museum part of the complex is a bit dry but there are some interesting artifacts, only managed to find the unlocked door due to the persistence...More

Be sure to spend time looking at the ceilings here - very interesting depictions of punishments of various crimes. A guide will tell you the whole story - a tip is appreciated when he is finished.

These are a complex of old buildings with wonderful paintings on the underside of the roofs. OK, not the easiest to view, but delightful none the less. The paintings have to do with religious and folk stories. The pavilions themselves are set in a series...More
