Away from the crowded august, the Passeggiata is very large and nice to stroll through, even with a bike. Nice & elegant buildings sourrounding you, great shops and private beaches. Very closed to the viareggini's typical streets (Piazza Cavour, Via Battisti) and facing the beach,...More

Everyone is on the street in the evening and the shops are open until 11:30pm. There are accesses to the beach! Even though most of the beaches close at 8pm

We strolled along this wonderful place a few times. Great place to people watch and wander. Beautiful scenes of the sea and the mountains. Costs nothing! Must do!

I go to Viareggio every summer and I always go to this passeggiata everyday. There’s a lot of restaurants and shops and it’s near the beach. There’s a lot see and it’s safe because there are police around the area

I’d count it as 2 miles as its a mile each way! Lots of opportunities to stop for a drink though!
