I booked a boat ride from La Spezia to Monterosso and after the boarding I figured the cashier gave me 10 euros less change than I was supposed to get. These kind of actions are the ones I hate the most since I don't like...More

Booked day pass on ferry to Cinque Terre from near our hotel in Portovenere. Planned to walk a couple of sections of the iconic Cinque Terre path (2 are closed due to landslides). Enjoyed the actual ferry ride and views to the villages of the...More

This was a ferry we took from La Spezia to get to Monterosso. This is not the fastest way to get there, but definitely worth the ride as you see all of the towns from the sea. I would have liked some commentary along the...More

Nice boat trip monterosso to Porto venere. Stops all towns and on a sunny day no better way to view. I liked Porto venere best. It gets really crowded so come early and snag a seat on the Port side outbound/ starboard inbound. Really good...More

Last Saturday I took one of the tours offered by this company from Levanto to Portovenerre. Despite a forecast announcing heavy rain, they were still selling tickets (the company has a waiver about reserving the right to cancel/modify trips based on weather). There was no...More

Where do you pick up the ferry

We jumped on in the beginning of the tour in Viareggio, the ferry pick you up on the end of the pier at the beachside at 9 in the morning. They only sell tickets on the boat and you have to pay in cash.
