Wonderful place, nature and sea. Not bar on the beach so better to have food and drink with you. It is possible to reach the beach by car even in August. Great experience

We had read and heard about this being an amazing place to visit. My immediate reaction was one of "tourism officer looking at anything which could be listed to pull in visitors". However our visit in October may not have done it justice. The beaches had a lot of debris and drift wood and are unkept, which is potentially what... More

This was a wonderful discovery - a smooth rock beach (no sand) with crystal clear water and no people. When we were there we saw only four other people. My suggestion is to take a very poor road (just take it slow and an auto can easily make it) down to the beach at the south end of the Riserve... More

Take the walk for the view or stay at the beach, either way this is a great spot to visit in Vasto. The fishing huts (called trabocco) are part of the vista. Saw kayaks and snorkeling so the options are varied. Less crowded than Vasto Marina beach. Beautiful!

We Italians aren't famous conservationists, nevertheless this coastal reserve is wonderfully managed and maintained. Staff and basic structures make you feel responsible for the future of this oasis of wildlife and clean waters

If you are looking for a wild, small, beautifully picturesque beach this place is just perfect. We arrived quite early (9:00) and were one of the first ones to come. As it is not easy to reach (you need to hike a few hundred meters from the parking) not many people make the effort - especially that very close by... More

There was a sign that said "you are now on the most beautiful beach on the Adriatic" and I would be hard pressed to find another any more beautiful. The reserve is quite large and there is a fantastic beach area. Lots of hiking opportunities. What a wonderful day.

A bit difficult to find, but Google maps worked! The beach is accessible on foot and the car has to be left at the top of the cliff. Stairs are carved into the path and not too difficult to negotiate, but definitely not for older or disabled people. The sea water is warm and clean. The rock formation stunning! The... More

Went for a walk there in October 2011 and really enjoyed it. Trabocco is spectacular, same as views towards Vasto and Fossacessia from the Punta. Good parking facilities, lovely walk, although bit steep going down to the beach. Lots to explore - wildlife, bird watching, snorkelling. Take a picnic with you and make a day out of it, you will...
