good equipment, nice and wide slopes. excellent for families and seniors. not so many black pistes, and if it snows they leave all pistes ungroomed "in order to enjoy the fresh snow", however practically you cannot use the center.

Went to Banff in Canada last year and this was as good. The views were stunning. Beautiful ski runs were tree lined and there are lots of bars and restaurants in the mountains. The village of Selva is small but has everything you need, excellent restaurants good access to the ski lifts. Ski hire and storage is available close to the... More

When escaping from big cities, this is a place you'll like. The day is on slopes and the town is quiet, yet offering all neccessary.

I have been skiing for the past 20 years and I have now been back for the second time to Selva Gardena. The skiing is brilliant after 14 days I only managed 300 km out of a potential 1200km , you must try the Sella Ronda in both directions and do not missout on skiing the areas you pass through... Such a huge place to ski. I will go every year. There are plenty of slopes that I didn't ski yet. I suggest to make the sella ronda to make a dolomiti trip and you will able to ski in many place like corvara, arabba etc.

I have been skiing in the Dolomites for 16 years and have every intention of returning to this wonderful ski complex. The Val Gardena is just one area within the Super Dolomiti Ski complex but, with its variety of runs from easy to difficult, it typifies what so many of the areas have to offer to novice and experienced skiers... Just returned from a weeks skiing in Selva, this was my first time skiing in Italy and it has to be one of my favourite places. The ski area is vast and as a result the piste map is a little hard to understand. The runs have a number key and not a name on the map and then the... More
