In the peak season it is not a nice travel up. Too many people are in one big cabin. Travelling is short and views are nice. You will be up very fast. But I prefer smaller cabins where you can sit down.

Good parking place near the lift. In a few minutes can be on the road to fantastic places for skiing. Sometimes there is a lot of people (a queue for 20 to 40 minutes).

We found it a bit expensive for the last week of the ski season. A part of the lifts was closed but the prices were the same. Most ski areas will offer cheaper ski passes in that case.

It is the perfect start to practice your skiing techniques as it is full of wide runs but if you are a seasoned skier, you will love it just the same as it is an open space with spectacular mountain views that make skiing so much fun. On a sunny day be sure to stop in at Gran Paradiso to... More

Make sure you take the first lift up to Piz Sella (opens at 8.30) on a sunny day. The view from the top is spectacular. The Sella is facing you with the Alps to your right and the Pordoi behind you and there might be a hint beyond of the Marmelada. The slopes are freshly groomed (and they do this... More

The Ride up is great fun, we managed to get front window views , really something special early in the mornings. From the top the fun begins black slopes down the back and red or blue depending on what you like down to the fun park for some spectacular jumps over motor cars and into tunnels. HAve a ride from... Well prepared slopes, not too easy, but also not too difficult. Perfect for all skiers. We were a large group of friends, all with different skiing skills, and this area just suited our needs perfectly. Hit the snow park, professional or not, you will be able to have a lot of fun without ever feeling unsafe... On the Sella Ronda.

A great lift with our favourite lunchtime restaurant in the whole of the Dolomites at the top. Tasty pizzas, great beer and Glühwein.
