Highly recommended - We used bikes supplied by our hotel and cycled to the far end of the trail from SanRemo, stopping on the way for coffee and again for lunch at the superb bike friendly cafes en-route. Very easy cycling, suitable for all abilities on a flat smooth track. Younger children (Under 12) may struggle with the full distance,... More

We rented bikes from Nolo bici and cycled to San Lorenzo al mare. We rented a trolley for our 9 month old boy. When he got sick of being in the trolley we stopped for lunch and a swim at the beach. Great views, nice path and happy people on and along the pista. We hope the pista will be... More

Wonderful treat to cycle uninterupted along the beautiful coastline for such a nice long stretch. The long tunnel towards Sanremo has been wonderfully renovated and is like biking through a Milan-Sanremo Cycling Museum. Good spots to stop for drinks along the way and wide enough to use for training rides. A nice combination is to detour on the short but... More

We took a double cycle to ferry our three year old around the track. We didn't stay out too long but the set up for cyclists is great, lots of fun lots of beauty and nice places to stop off and catch a breath.

Sanremo is undoubtedly one of the best places to visit on the Italian/French riviera, with its great beaches, restaurants, bars, shops, markets, wonderful people, and of course, casino! However, one of the things that puts it ahead of the competition is its fantastic, custom built, cycle path!!! The path follows the old railway track route along the coast - starting... More

This bike truck has been built on the old railway and pass through nice scenario, sea, beaches from San Lorenzo al Mare to Ospedaletti, Mediterranean trees and plants, a lot of riders coming from all the Europe. Some bar along the tour, would be improved the signs to improve the use of bikers and walking people. A very negative aspect, missing the... More

Amazing bike/run track. Fantastic road along the coast through old railway tunnels and railways tracks that is converted to road. Used to run here each morning on my vacation.

Hire a bike from your hotel as the local hire shops are more expensive. Try and do the whole 48 Km as you will find plenty of the old stations offer food and drank along the way and it is truly worth the effort.
