As far as bell towers go, it was very nice. Good stairs to go up and wide enough for people coming down an up at the same time! great views over the city... check the time when you go up, we hadn't realised we were nearing the hour and got quite a fright when the bell started ringing right next... A very nice square. Just by the lake. Nice restaurants in the surroundings which all have the exact same menu.

A good way to see the town and it's very affordable at 2 Euro. It doesn't take that long to climb, but it's well worth a visit. Mind your head on the last section!

It is a good hike up the tower but if you do not have time to hike up to the bastion this is a good alternative. It only costs 2 euro per person so I thought it was well worth it! It is a lot of stairs so not for someone who has difficulty walking or with stairs. Do not... More

This has great views over Riva del Garda. It is not expensive and is a fairly easy climb up the 165 steps . A little tip the roof is low near the top and it is very easy to hit the roof with your head if you are not careful which I found out by not being careful..

We climbed up the 160+ steps after obtaining our concessionary tickets (€1 for over 65s) and loved the views of the town from the top. Lovely place to take photos and an interesting old bell. There are regular chimes from the clock tower which are startling if you are up there! If you are staying nearby, the chimes stop between... More

It's only €2 to climb the tower and the 165 steps are quite open and sturdy. It's spacious so you don't feel hemmed in so you can stop and rest if you need to. The view from the top is very nice - overlooking all of Riva and the lake. It wasn't busy at all when I visited in August.

We can't believe that it has taken us four visits to Riva before climbing to the top of this tower. Great value for money and fabulous views of one of our favourite holiday destinations.

Ok, so two euros each is the good news, the 165 odd stairs not so good, but well worth the effort for some good views of the town and the northern end of the lake. It is a hike if you are slightly unfit, but stairs are manageable and in good state. Recommended.

Great views from the top of the tower over the lake and the rooftops of Riva del Garda and the mountains.
