Villa Rufolo is found after a long uphill walk from the main square in Ravello. The villa has many statutes and a wonderful view of the water. Unlike another Ravello site, Villa Cimbrone, Villa Rufolo does not have great floral displays. Like much of the...More

All the guide books recommend a visit here and Ravello isn’t very big so it has to be done. Compact villa estate with lots of history and more recent additions, excellent views of course so still a pleasant way to pass an hour or two.

Not to be missed if you are on the Amalfi Coast. Sprawling villa dating back to the 13th century, with additions and renovations over the centuries made by a series of owners, with the result that it incorporates several architectural styles. Extensive, beautiful, gardens. Interesting...More

Visited this lovely place last week. Almost totally wheelchair accessible and free for both myself and my husband. The beautifully manicured gardens are only surpassed by the astonishing views. A lovely touch to hear Wagner playing gently in the background. Magical.
