Villa Rufolo in Ravello is a serene place with manicured gardens and old interesting buildings but the best thing is of course the view of the Amalfitan coast from the balcony.

We visited here straight after villa cimbrone and unfortunately that made villa Rufolo seem a little bit of a letdown especially as it's the same entry price but seems to have less to offer in terms of views or gardens. That said it is easier...More

The gardens! The view! The Palace! It is one of the most beautiful places I've visited in my life! The town is also very picturesque. Visit in May-June or Sept-Okt

Visited this morning while spending a week in Ravello. Very beautiful gardens and views over the bay to Maiori. The house and surrounding buildings were interesting and I was particularly interested to see the “Mortar” photographs and read about how they were taken. Enjoyed the...More

We (3 friends) visited in June 2018. We had an amazing time. The tower museum and the view from the top of the tower is priceless (just marginally inferior to Infinity Terrace at Villa Cimbroene). Entire area is nicely maintained, they also have a guided...More

Beautiful place, I haven't word to describe views from the top. Place where your breath will stop. Perfect 3D exposition, describing how was the villa's looks 1000 years ago. Very quiet place, beautiful gardens. Highly recommend this place, where in the past, Wagner lived here.

Just got back home from attending wedding in Ravello. Had a brief look at the villa and gardens. Entrance fee -7 Euro per person. Villa lovely and cool and then the gardens with spectacular view. Gardens not maintained quite up to UK standards but well...More

Ravello is enchanting and there was no more enchanting place to be early on a Sunday morning than the Villa Rufolo. Caught the 8.30 am bus from Amalfi. On arrival, a few minutes walk through the tunnel and the entrance is right there opposite the...More

Disappointing. The place was being readied for the Ravello Festival therefore much of the place was off limits and there was scaffolding everywhere. Unfortunately there was no mention of this until after we paid admission.

Hi, there are a couple of possibilities. One is catch the Circumvesuviana train from Naples to Sorrento, then catch the Sita bus from Sorrento to Positano, then Amalfi. At Amalfi you can either take the Sita bus or the Hop... More
