We went in September so we did not see this garden at its best but it was still a very agreeable place for a leisurely walk. To see the garden at its best go when the roses are in season.

It may be advantageous to do so. The seasonality of the flowers and plants notwithstanding, you may avoid some of the peak season crowds and be able to enjoy the gardens and vistas in a more peaceful/less congested... More
