We are in our 60's and in fairly good shape and had no problem walking down, much easier than the Amalfi walk and very picturesque. $30 euro for the cab back up to Ravello

Nobody said there were just straight up steps to Ravello. Wow were we beat! Should have practiced in the Empire State Building! Don't do it unless preparing for marathon or triathlon.

....than the one to Atrani/Amalfi. The steps are mostly terraced rather than steep if you stay on the right track. Still a bit tough on the calfs and knees but a lot safer. You can walk onto Maiori but note this is on the road...More
