Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed here at the end of November during a walk in Ragusa Ibla. I had heard great things about it and imagined a much larger garden with more variety. The small churches inside are beautiful, in particular that of San Giacomo. The fountain is disappointing. Unfortunately, many areas were cordoned off due to work in progress. The panoramic view of the surrounding countryside is very beautiful

Situated at the eastern end of Rgausa Ibla, this is a tranquil garden to wander through - very well-tended. Nice and cool in the heat of the day with plenty of benches to sit and relax on. Fountains, churches, tress and delightful pathways, this is definitely worth a visit.

I wasnt overall in love with Ragusa but my favourite part was this beautiful park. There's a large play area if you have little kids with you and tree lined paths and a fountain. A really nice place to sit. The day we were there it was a street theatre festival....Ibla Buskers....and there was a play for children which was brilliant. We didn't even have children with us but sat and watched it very entertained. Not sure how often they have events like that but even without the gardens are worth a visit.

We just happened upon this garden as we walked through old town Ragusa. It’s at the far end of town, so just keep walking. Well maintained and filled with people of all ages. Plenty of seats to sit back and relax. Check it out.

Charming city, we visited during the morning and had lunch on site.
There are several churches in Baroque style. The view is fantastic.
It has many typical restaurants, is close to beautiful beaches and other interesting cities.

The public gardens in Ragusa Ibla, called 'Giardini Iblei', are a perfect place to relax after have spent the day walking around the medieval town of Ibla. The park is called Giardini (plural and not Giardino) because is made of two different parts, one part in italian style and one english style.
The park was built in the XIX century in the area between the churches of San Giacomo, San Domenico and the church of the Cappuccini monks. Two more churches were on this site but of the church of San Teodoro we have no remains and of the old San Giorgio (the new is the Duomo in the main piazza) all is left is the front wall with the beautifull Gotic-Catalan Portal dating the to the XII century. The church of San Domenico (also called Madonna del Rosario) is in poor conditions but has a charmingly decorated bell-tower; the church of San Giacomo has an intresting decorated wooden ceiling dating to the XVIII century and a crucifix of spanish school of the '600.
At the end of the main avenue of the 'Giardini Iblei' is the church of the Cappuccini where you can find a painting of Pietro Novelli of southern style dating 1520. From the far end of the park you will also enjoy the view over the valley of the river Irmino.

A calm and lovely place to sit and amble about among palm trees. If the weather is warm enough it is a good place for a picnic. We visited in mid march in the morning and it was beautifully quiet. The gardens are well looked after and offer great views on the countryside.

These are beautiful gardens situated on one of the edges of Ibla which are certainly worth a visit both during the day and at night. They are open till very late in Summer so if you're in Ibla, make sure that you pay these gardens a visit.

Half expecting a light toned suited Sicilian to walk out of one of the adjoining buildings [like in the Godfather films] this little garden is an oasis in the far end of this town. No, it's not the best garden in the world, but boy is it memorable with the dry desolate surrounding hills and valleys, and this green Italianette garden with stone paths and shading trees in this gorgeous town.

What a special place. Our guide told us the wonderful story of this place, the destruction, and rebuild in 2 parts. The garden is such a restive place.
