This beautiful public garden is to be found in Ragusa Ibla. During the summer it is a lovely place where one can sit under a tree sheltering from the sun which can be pretty fierce during the summer months. Close by the gardens there are some lovely bars which serve delicious ice cream. So why not grab a sandwich and... More

I was disappointed not to to see the entire garden. If the restoration had been completed I know that it would have received 5 stars. An ideal place to relax after walking around Ragusa Ibla. Within the garden is the church of San Giacomo Apostolo, it is a beautiful building, well worth visiting. The views of the countryside from the... More

Take shade here, and watch the world go by. Relaxing after walking around the old town. We nearly nodded off on a bench!

Beware. At the time of our visit extensive repairs are under way, replacing balustrades and urns and resurfacing paths. So half the gardens including the lovely palm walk are out of bounds. Shame!! Children's area still open, but tatty. But we sat in the shade listening to a number of elderly Sicilian chaps having a lively argument over something (football?... More

If you're a fan of Montalbano, you easily recognise several vistas. On a hot day the shade is a tonic. And the views from here of the Sicilian landscape are stunning. The gardens themselves are nice, and there are plenty of benches plus some stone seats. A lovely place to chat with friends, enjoy a stroll at any time of... More

The garden is pleasant, but I did not find anything special about it and I do not see any compelling reasons to plan a visit while in Ragusa. There was a bit of construction going on, so perhaps that spoiled the scenery and atmosphere a bit for me. It is not a bad place (not the best either) to watch... More

The gardens are fairly formal with a large cjhildren's play area. There is plenty of shade, and lovely views over the surrounding hills. At this time of year, there are many swallowtail butterflies chasing around, which is really spectacular

This is a nice little park in Ragusa. Unfortunately most parts were closed during our visit so we didn't get to enjoy the views.

Part of walking tour and very pleasant with some nice nearby cafes and restaurants. Can imagine it would be great for an evening stroll with some refreshments.

Actually responded more to the gardens than anything else in Ragusa ibla. It was close to our B&B and the places we parked and so enjoyed the gardens lush beauty on several occasions during our 2 night stay.
