We visited Aquarium Laguna di Nora just today with our 2y old son. There are only few aquariums with fish and one big circle one with a turtle. There is also Dolphin museum with a sculpture of dolphins. It was not worth of 8 EUR per adult at all for families with young children. I can imagine it can be... More

So we never made it to the aquarium because we were soaking wet and covered in black mud. I would like to request of the management of this attraction, that they please refund the 50 EU paid. My wife and I should never have been allowed to share the same canoe and the guide was at fault in this. We... More

The aquarium and turtle sanctuary/rehabilitation is reached along a long spit which has the sea on one side and the lagoon on the other. The Aquarium is poor and has very few fish and crustacea. Next is a cetacean display with the skulls and skeletons of some small whales/dolphins - this actually is quite interesting, but again small scale. The... More

I was dissapointed about this place. No staff to tell us anything, We saw two turtles in pools, some dolphin skeletons and some aquariums with no info to read. I don´t think that it´s worth the money. The only good thing is that our money goes to help saving the animals. The sorroundings are beautiful but you don´t need to... More

The aquarium is located on a causeway that is often quite windy and you have to walk to it. The aquarium itself has around 5 small tanks, two tide pool tanks and one sea turtle. Maybe 30-40 minutes is needed. Balance the cost with how much you will get out of it.

We visited this aquarium as a couple in our 20's on a visit to Nora. We were interested to identify the fish species we had seen whilst snorkelling on the island. It was a bit surprising that the entrance fee was 8 euro per adult. However, the attraction is well set out for children. It does not take long to... More

The aquarium itself is a bit small and they do tend to like you being guided (in Italian, unfortunately, which I do not speak) but it is interesting. However, the dolphin/whale exhibition is interesting and the turtle rescue centre (with a couple of patients when we were there) was worth seeing. We took a morning canoe around the lagoon as... Enjoyed it, although it was NOT something terribly incredible. The people working there are enthusiasts at what they do, and that is always catchy. We did the whole day: snorkeling (to see the remains of Roman quarries and something else), canoeing and aquarium excursion. The main pity was that all explanations and stories were given in Italian (but the public... More
