the tour is less than two minutes; the boat operator mocks everyone who comes in to see the green light.

Fun, easy, sea wind, great guide - romantic. The cave itself is not such a highlight but for 10 euros per person at operators near Alfonso al Mare, are really worth it - also took us to some better unknown amazing caves - GO!!

It was fun to get into the grotta. But it is really tiny, it took a lot more time to queue and get in than being inside. Though the roller or guide whatever you call him sings nicely, I find chf 14 plus tip for...More

Going to the Grotto is fun, but not what the name implies. A boat trip to the cave's entrance is nice to do, then you get into a small boat to go into the cave. That, in itself, was mainly entertaining because of the singing...More

We didn't mind spending the money for the "ride" to the Grotta. It was a beautiful site and very unusual. The guide had a great sense of humor and yet it seemed the hype was a little over the top.

We almost skipped this place due to the mediocre reviews. I'm glad one in the group suggested we go anyhow. If you are staying within walking distance as we were, or driving by, this is a great stop. It's quick and cheap at 5 only...More

The grotto itself is pretty. But the tour they've built around it was awful. 5 Euro for a 5 minute boat ride around the grotto. The boatman / tour guide didn't even bother turning the boat around so all could see the most beautiful; part...More

We were charged 10 euro for the trip, but when we disembarked at a deserted cove, we were told it was another 5 euro to see the grotto ie we were misled that the 10 euro covered the boat and grotto. The grotto itself was...More

Visited the Emerald Grotto while on a trip down the Amalfi Coast. It cost five Euros each for me and my wife. Having entered the cave system you are sat in strange square rowing boat while a guide takes you around the cave - which...More

Takes about an hour from Amalfi. 20 mins in the boat each way and another 20 in the grotto. Our B&B assured us this was worth a visit and better than the Capri experience - which we've yet to see. But I'm not converted just...More

I don't believe there is a storage for luggage at the Emerald Grotto. It is very small and we left our luggage on the bus.
