This church is located in a fortress that is a fair climb up from the waterfront. Nevertheless, it is well worth the effort. Sea views out every window and a beautiful, restrained interior. Don't miss it.

My family and I loved visiting the extraordinary church set high upon a cliff above the harbor. The church dates back to the sixth century.

1000 years old, Dark and very original basilica, absolutely worth the many steps on the Way there, the one outstanding highlight in a Liguria Tourist hotspot

We are staying Monterosso, what are our options for getting to the church? (we do not have a car). Thanks in advance.
